The objective: to encourage national and local groups to form to:

1. Mobilize interest locally and nationally in development for all by creating national web sites and activities, including
   • Skype and face to face meetings;
   • Media events;
   • National think tanks that can:
     • help local and national communities discern and implement development best suited to their locality;
     • help governments at the UN find solutions to international development problems, building on their diverse expertise;
2. Find appropriate funding approaches for local and national development. These can later be adapted to form steps in a global development strategy.
3. Share their experiences with successful personal and community development with the international community via the international web site and other meetings.
4. Assess the approaches to funding and implementing development on this international web site in the light of their individual experiences.
5. Form part of an international network of think tanks that can think along with governments at the UN as these work toward implementing development for all.
